About
Built to Get You Off Your Phone, Not Deeper Into It
JoinMeIn was created around one simple belief: real connection happens in person, not in an inbox. We're building the app we wished existed, one that helps you actually meet people, not just talk to them.
Our Story
JoinMeIn started with a familiar frustration, endless swiping, long chat threads that went nowhere, and apps that seemed more interested in keeping people online than getting them to actually meet up. We wanted something different: a way to see who's genuinely around and open to connecting, right now, without weeks of messaging just to grab a coffee.
So we built a live radar instead of a static profile grid. A way to go live when you're out, see real people and real plans nearby, and turn that into an actual meetup, the same day, sometimes the same hour.
Our Mission
Real People. Real Places. Real Connections.
Our mission is simple: help people meet in real life. Not through another feed to scroll or another match to overthink, but through real-time visibility into who's around and what's happening nearby. Whether that leads to a new friendship, a date, or just a good conversation over coffee, we believe the best outcomes happen face to face, not behind a screen.
What We Believe
- Meeting people should be simple. You shouldn't need weeks of messaging just to grab coffee.
- Connection isn't one-size-fits-all, friendships, group hangouts, and dating belong in one place.
- Privacy and safety come first. You're always in control of when you're live and what you share.
- Showing up matters, every feature is designed to move people from scrolling to showing up.
Where We're Headed
JoinMeIn is live in cities across the country and growing. As our community expands, our focus stays the same: making it easier for people to step away from their screens and into real conversations, real hangouts, and real relationships, wherever they are.

Be Part of the Movement
We're building JoinMeIn for people who are tired of apps that keep them online instead of getting them out. If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you on the radar.
